Warranty, Returns & Bat Care
1. Warranty Overview
All bats are handcrafted in the UK from premium English willow. As a natural material, willow will show signs of use over time, and minor surface cracking is a normal part of performance.
Each bat includes a 6-month warranty covering genuine manufacturing defects under normal use.
2. What Is Covered
The warranty covers:
- Handle breakage
- Structural blade failure
- Delamination
- Horizontal splits caused by inherent willow defects
If a valid fault is confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund, where appropriate.
Goodwill Repairs
Cracks in the handle or splice within 6 months may be repaired at our discretion.
3. What Is Not Covered
The following are considered normal wear and tear or misuse:
- Toe damage (e.g. yorkers)
- Edge or shoulder damage from high-impact shots
- Surface cracking during play
- Damage caused by hard or machine balls
- Water, moisture, or extreme temperature exposure
- Poor storage or lack of maintenance
These are expected characteristics of cricket bat use and are not considered manufacturing faults.
4. Preparation and Use
To keep your warranty valid:
- Bats must be properly knocked in before use
- If not prepared by us, correct knocking-in is the customer’s responsibility
- Only standard leather cricket balls should be used
5. Returns – Change of Mind
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
Refunds will be processed after inspection.
